Feeling Drained? Try These Simple Antidotes to Burnout

The world is loud. Life moves fast. And many of us are walking around with full schedules and empty energy tanks.

But you don’t need hours to reset—you just need a few moments of intention.

Over the past 30 years, I’ve guided CEOs, creatives, and caregivers through burnout, reinvention, and personal transformation. And what I know for sure is this:

Your well-being begins with the sacred pauses.

Here are some  simple tools you can try this week.

Sky Before Screen:
Before checking your phone, computer or tablet, look out the window for 30 seconds. This simple shift moves your brain from reactive to reflective and opens you up to a wider perspective.

Schedule Self-Care:
If it's not on your calendar, it often doesn’t happen. Block time for rest and rituals like they’re VIP meetings—because they are.

Helper’s High:
One act of kindness a day = powerful ripple effect. And helping others releases dopamine and other feel-good chemicals in the brain, which can lead to a sense of well-being.

10 Minutes in Nature:
Let the earth recalibrate and ground you. Touch a tree, go barefoot in the grass, smell a flower.

Your power lives in presence, not perfection. Engaging in these rituals can help you realign with clarity, calm and a stronger connection to your inner wisdom.

What’s one small sacred step you’ll take this week?
