The Ancient Egyptians Left Messages For You
Join global ritual expert Barbara Biziou for a rare and powerful spiritual journey through the Metropolitan Museum's extraordinary Egyptian collection in New York City.
Having led pilgrimages to Egypt and immersed herself in its timeless wisdom, Barbara brings a unique lens to this experience — blending metaphysical teachings, personal insights, and ritual practice. This is not a typical museum tour. It's a sacred exploration where you'll connect deeply with the ancient rituals, gods, and symbols that still hold energy and meaning today.
The Met's Ancient Egyptian collection spans thousands of years. As an ancient being yourself, you may find that certain objects, symbols, or pieces of jewelry "light you up" — a heavy or excited feeling in your stomach, your chest, the top of your head. As we move through the galleries, you'll be encouraged to notice these reactions in your body. We'll pause as a group periodically to share and read these energies using our own clairvoyance. No prior experience required.
Stand before towering statues of Sekhmet, the lion-headed goddess of fierce healing and transformation, and receive her ancient transmission. Decode the spells of the Book of the Dead, etched onto papyrus, revealing the secrets of how to live — and die — well. You may even catch a glimpse of your ancient self in a 6,000-year-old mirror, reflecting forgotten wisdom back to you.
This is a modern-day initiation — an awakening of a deeper part of yourself through the sacred echoes of ancient Egypt.
