  • Eastern Standard Time (map)

Join Barbara on IG live for an interesting conversation with Phyllis W. Curott, J.D. H. Ps.

A spiritual pioneer, Phyllis Curott is an attorney, writer and one of America’s first public Witches. Her best-selling books, published in 14 languages, and her YouTube series What is Wicca?, with over 2,000,000 views, have introduced the world to Witchcraft. An outspoken advocate in the courts and media, she handled or consulted on groundbreaking cases securing the legal rights of Witches, including cases of child custody, religious assembly, organization, expression, and free speech.

Inducted into the Martin Luther King Jr. Collegium of Clergy and Scholars, Phyllis was honored by Jane Magazine as one of the Ten Gutsiest Women of the Year, and received One Spirit Seminary and Learning Alliance’s 2018 Service to Humanity Award where she teaches Wicca, Goddess and Earth-based spirituality. Published by TIME in its IDEAS column as one of America’s “leading voices,” New York Magazine described her teaching as the culture’s “next big idea.” Within the Pagan community she is notable for her revolutionary definitions of magic, her rejection of the Rede and Threefold Law, and her advocacy for an ethics of embodied divinity.
